Decentralized Storage

Decentralized storage describes peer-to-peer networks in which members combine their disk space to create what is essentially a global hard drive. These networks are trustless, immutable, and in some cases permanent and censorship-resistant.

Decentralized storage is the next generation of cloud storage, promising the convenience of cloud storage, with greater security and full ownership over one’s data. It is also often referred to as decentralized cloud storage.
